Made with love in Halifax, NS.

Second Print started in December 2024 with a small run of vintage pinback button reproductions.

I began the project during a time when I felt unmoored and disconnected. Recreating these tiny pieces of queer history felt like holding onto something solid. Something that had survived before. Something that would again.

In January 2026, Second Print expanded into apparel and custom printing. What began as buttons became t-shirts, hats, totes, and small-batch apparel — all printed locally in Halifax using Canadian-sourced materials.

Today, Second Print is still just me: owner, designer, printer, shipper. I use DTF printing to produce high-quality original designs and faithful recreations of vintage graphics, as well as original designs by both myself and my mother, a watercolour artist of several decades. I also offer custom printing for artists, organizers, small brands, and community projects.

The work is rooted in history, but the shop itself is simple: make good things, print them well, keep it local, and mean what you say.

Second Print is a print shop with a past — and a future built on community.
